      I bought the car for less than $1,400 with only minor body damage and the A/C didn't work. It was an 89 IROC-Z with just about every factory option: 305 TPI, 5spd, 9bolt 3.45 posi, 4whl disc, dual cats, oil cooler, power everything! I drove it for a week before doing the complete rebuild. I had it down to the uni-body in just less than a month. Working full-time in the summer and going to Auburn that Fall, the car took nearly a year to rebuild. It cost me more money than I had, but what new car doesn't and the knowledge I gained from it is invaluable.
